Chest Energy Center- Love and Trust
***I will be away for a couple of weeks. I will continue blogging when I return, until then, thank you for your interest and your comments….Carol.
It is here you have the following potential, “You feel connected to all of Life. Everyone becomes your relative. Plants, animals, birds, and insects also become your relatives. You feel the pain of others and the joy of others. You care for others. You are open and welcoming.” (p58-59) That is what you are capable if you allow energy to leave the Chest energy center out of love and trust. That is what we must have if we are to evolve and survive on this earth we call Mother.
All things that live here breathe the same air, drink the same waters, eat from the same land. We are all of the tribe of humanity; breath and water of The One. If we truly believed this, we would show respect and make peace and unity with all our relations during these challenging times by release love and trust from our chest energy center. ..our hearts.
Excerpt from the Strong Spirit Path, Paula Underwood Spencer:
“…all things that contain Energy
are alive
as all things are formed of Energy
all things are alive
and all things are related
each to the other
always .”
As someone who follows the Native American Ways, I have been taught that the spirit in the wooden chair is no different than the sprit of the still-living tree. If it once had living essence, it still carries that spirit. And, if it was part of Creation, it, as well, carries that essence. All that sprung from creation has spirit: Thus are we all connected.
“From the Great Spirit there came a great unifying life force that flowed in and through all things - the flowers of the plains, blowing wind, animals - and was the same force that had been breathed into the first man. Thus all things were kindred and were brought together by the Great Mystery.” - Chief Luther Standing Bear, Teton Sioux
We are always in the constant state of being. Every food we eat, that was a living thing, is part of our spirit. Every sound made, every movement made is spirit. It all connects back to Creation.
Nhat Hanh, Zen Master, claims that there is a cloud that floats above that piece of paper. Paper, as we all know, is made by trees. Trees require earth, sunshine, carbon dioxide, and water. The water comes from an aquifer in the ground that is fed by rain water. Rain comes from clouds. When we look at a piece of paper, we should see the tree, the water, the rain and the cloud.
I love the absolute soulful sense the stories of the ancients have passed down to us. Our shard reality with all things is beautiful to me. It is one that should cause us all to treat each other and all things with a quality of spiritual reverence and respect that should emit from every energy center we have but more so from the heart energy center.
We Belong To The Earth
This we know. The earth does not
belong to us; we belong to the earth.
This we know. All things are connected
like the blood which unites one family.
All things are connected.
Whatever befalls the earth befalls
the sons and daughters of
the earth.
We did not weave the web of life;
We are merely a strand in it.
Whatever we do to the web,
we do to ourselves.

There are the Grandmother Spider stories we find in many First Nation tribes that speak to creation and the web of life. The main theme is that Grandmother Spider who, with God, created the Earth and all the things upon it. With the help of the animals, she separated the people into clans. The animals led the people to the places where they built their homes and settled. We consider the virtues of spider’s keen awareness, its patience, and how it brings a balance in nature. Spider webs symbolize the interconnectedness of all things. The web connects all things, creating a balance.
Somehow we have got to get back to what I have been taught as our only reason for being here: To take care of Mother Earth and each other. To do this, we must listen to the energy that comes in, process it, and learn to reconnect to whatever we do or say. We are moving into the Fifth Hoop, when it is our last chance to become spiritual beings living earthly lives and see and respect the interconnectedness of all things with the One Creator. We have to release our energy in love and trust that all things are as they should be except maybe human beings. We must evolve or die, as Eckhart said in “The New Earth”.
From DESIDERATA, MAX EHRMANN 1927: You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
