Refueling

There is nothing like family. We have gathered and I have met the last brother found. Each of us are so different and yet there are so many common threads… It does something for the soul to be around my siblings. And then there are the few moments with mother that simply fill every empty space left. How dear, how nurturing and how very important for us to gather like this.

I am back in Vancouver and we have a full itinerary. There are crib tournaments, invitations to dinners, more gatherings. Ah, it is good.

I am flying back on Tuesday. I fear the train after the nightmare coming. I will get my ticket refunded the whole way I was told…I love the train and that trip out for four days was such a disappointment. Until I leave, we are booked solid. LOL.

We drug the gathering into several days and kept t going by staying at my nephews and having a wonderful longer visit with brother Doug and Darcy and Verona and their children. Then we met the boys and came over to Horseshoe Bay and had dinner with John and Bobby when Ron met us. On the spur, we drove on out to Ron and Wendy’s and stayed overnight before we even came home. Now we have dinner at Tiff’s coming up, we have arranged to meet Wendy (Ron’s wife) for a little shopping spree.

It is beautifully warm here on the West coast. There is nice air high up in through the windows of Lil’s condo as we are above the other buildings.

All is good and I am refueling.
